Are you hungry for homemade chicken noodle
soup? It tastes SO good in these cold winter months. Have you ever tried making your own noodles? It might sound scary, but you would not
believe how easy they are to make. They’re perfect in soups, Italian dishes or anywhere you would
use noodles. And, you do not need a fancy machine either, just
a few utensils and your own hands.
Ingredients: 1 beaten egg
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp milk
¾ to 1 cup
flour
Directions: Combine egg, salt & milk.
Add enough flour to make stiff and not sticky dough.
Spread flour over area beneath ball and roll thin (1/8 inch). Let stand
for 20 minutes.
With flour in between, fold in half, and using a pizza cutter, cut into
strips between ¼ to ½ inch wide (your choice-
I like mine narrow, lots of people prefer wider). Pull apart to open.
Let dry 2 hours.
That’s it!
Add to boiling soup (or water if you’re not making them for soup) for at
least 10 minutes.
Slurp (oops, maybe not) and enjoy!
