In this economic downturn, we are always trying to think of ways we can further help the businesses that support us. We give discounts, we come up with extra advertising campaigns on social media and the internet and personally spend time promoting and marketing our advertisers in ways they don't even pay for, just because we want them to get the BEST response possible. We want people's hard earned dollars spent as effectively as possible. This is our PASSION!
That's for our advertisers... now, we also want to do something to help support our readers. We know there are a lot of people out there that have lost their jobs; our families have been personally affected by this and we know the stress and struggle it can cause, so we have come up with a way to help.

We have used Canada Post and Sun Media/The Strathmore Standard for the past 8 years to deliver the magazine door to door in Strathmore and Langdon; they have been amazing partners and we are proud to have worked with them, but we want to start working with some of our readers directly. We are starting a "Promote Your Neighbourhood Campaign!" We are going to divide the towns into sections and we want to hire people who will be responsible for promoting our magazine and our advertisers in their areas. You will be responsible for delivering the magazine to EVERY house and businesses in your area once a month, but this is more than just a delivery job. We will have monthly activities and incentives where you have a chance to really get involved in promoting and supporting your neighbourhood and the businesses in your community! There will be opportunities to make extra money depending on how involved you want to be. You can do this on your own, or as a family & friends activity. We are doing this for 3 main reasons; First, "A Rising Tide Raises ALL SHIPS", we really want to do whatever we can to help strengthen this economy within our communities. More jobs helps that, so we want to provide some jobs for our readers. Second, we want the magazine delivered on its OWN every month now, not with another publication. We want all attention on the magazine, we really want to make sure our advertisers are getting the very maximum exposure. It is very important to make sure we are doing everything we possibly can to guarantee that. Last, we want the chance to really help bring people together. We will be handing out rewards, throwing block parties and doing everything we can to really get people active, involved in their communities and supporting local!

This will NOT be a full time job! This will be very part time at this point, but we are extremely excited to give back to the people that support us, especially in this economic downturn when it is most important to support each other! That is what it is all about!
