Hockey Calgary is looking for as many people as possible to come out and be a part of a flash mob at the Worlds Longest Hockey Game out in Chestermere this Wednesday, May 16 at 8 a.m. live on Breakfast Television!
Come out and SURPRISE the players with cheering, signs, clapping etc. as you and many others flood into the Chestermere hockey arena.
Forward this email onto your friends, family and co-workers as they want to make this a huge success (but please keep it a surprise for the players).
The game wraps up Wednesday afternoon after 40 players reach a new World Record of playing in the longest hockey game (246 hour long game!). All proceeds raised are going to the Alberta Children's Hospital (goal of 1.5 million!).
We want to encourage these exhausted and extremely sore hockey players during their last leg of the game. PLEASE help them do that by joining us for the flash mob:
When: Wednesday, May 16, 2012
Where: Chestermere Hockey Arena (201 W. Chestermere Dr. Chestermere, AB) *** Meet outside in the parking lot at the entrance to the NEW arena on the southern end of the recreation complex ****
Time: Everyone to meet at 8 a.m.
Who: EVERYONE IS WELCOME
What: Flash Mob (everyone will walk into the rink at the same time yelling and cheering – surprise the players and boost up their energy)
Thank you for supporting such a great cause and helping us cheer on these local hockey heroes.
